Mexican cornbread

- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- chopped onion - 2/3 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- can cream-style corn - 1 oz
- corn meal - 2 c
- jalapeno pepper - 1 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Brown ground beef with onion and chopped pepper (to taste). Drain. Mix flour, meal, eggs, oil, corn and milk together. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased pan. Layer ground beef mixture, then Cheddar cheese. Top with rest of batter. Bake at 375° for 45 to 60 minutes, until done.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
