Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/4 c
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • Bisquick - 1 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • salsa - 1/2 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/4 c
  • tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • taco seasoning - 2 Tbsp
  • corn meal - 1/2 c
  • pinto beans - 16 oz
  • small can chilies - 1 item

How to make tostada bake:

Combine Bisquick, corn meal, 1/4 c. milk, oil and egg. Set aside. Brown meat, onions, taco seasoning, add tomato sauce and stir. Put Bisquick in pie pan and press to sides. Cover with meat mixture, beans, and chilies. Top with cheese and thin salsa. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
