Mexican casserole
Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- medium bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- chicken or beef broth - 3/4 c
- American cheese slices - 1 item
- can Ro-Tel tomatoes, drained - 1 item
- lean beef - 1 fryer
- tostado chips - 1 pkg
How to make mexican casserole:
Boil and debone the fryer or brown the beef. Cook the onion and bell pepper in microwave with a little water for 3 minutes. Crumble tostado chips about halfway up a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Mix all other ingredients. Pour over top of chips and cook at 350° until hot and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
