Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- onions, diced - 2 item
- leftover mashed potatoes - 1 item
How to make mashed potato pie:
Brown beef and onions together in a skillet until golden brown. In a greased casserole pan, make a 1/4-inch layer of mashed potatoes. Alternate with a layer of beef and onion mixture. Make as many layers as desired, topping is with mashed potatoes. Spread the milk over this and dot with butter. Bake in a 375° oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
