Mashed potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- medium potatoes - 12 item
- chives - 1/4 c
How to make mashed potato casserole:
Peel, quarter and cook potatoes. Drain and mash. Add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and garlic. Beat at high speed until smooth. Stir in chives. Place in a 2-quart greased pan with margarine. Sprinkle top with paprika and pour margarine over top. Bake 30 minutes at 350°, covered. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Potato, Main dish, Casseroles.
