Marinated vegetables
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- salad oil
- pepper - 1 tsp
- onion, diced - 1 c
- celery, diced - 1 c
- white vinegar - 1 c
- green peppers, diced - 1 c
- can water chestnuts, diced - 1 item
- dashes Tabasco - 2 item
- pimientos, diced - 1 c
- 2 can bean sprouts
- 2 can English peas
- 2 can French-style green beans
- 2 can diced carrots
- 2 can Shoepeg corn
How to make marinated vegetables:
Dressing:1 c. salad oil1 c. white vinegar1 tsp. pepper1 1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. salt2 dashes Tabasco Drain all vegetables and place in a large bowl. Add celery, pimientos, onion and peppers.Mix dressing ingredients and bring to a boil. Allow to cool, pour over vegetables and chill.
Note: Will keep up to two weeks in refrigerator.
