Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • salad oil
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • onion, diced - 1 c
  • celery, diced - 1 c
  • white vinegar - 1 c
  • green peppers, diced - 1 c
  • can water chestnuts, diced - 1 item
  • dashes Tabasco - 2 item
  • pimientos, diced - 1 c
  • 2 can bean sprouts
  • 2 can English peas
  • 2 can French-style green beans
  • 2 can diced carrots
  • 2 can Shoepeg corn

How to make marinated vegetables:

Dressing:1 c. salad oil1 c. white vinegar1 tsp. pepper1 1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. salt2 dashes Tabasco Drain all vegetables and place in a large bowl. Add celery, pimientos, onion and peppers.

Mix dressing ingredients and bring to a boil. Allow to cool, pour over vegetables and chill.

Note: Will keep up to two weeks in refrigerator.
