  • vinegar - 1/3 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • medium diced onion - 1 item
  • small jar pimento - 1 item
  • French-cut green beans - 1 (16
  • can baby green peas - 16 oz
  • salad oil last - 1/2 c
  • can Shoepeg cut corn - 1 oz
  • Mix salad ingredients well and set aside

How to make marinated vegetable salad:

Drain canned vegetables well. Mix salad ingredients well and set aside. Mix sugar, vinegar and spices together in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and let cool. Add oil to the dressing. Pour over vegetables. Cover and chill 24 hours before serving.Dressing:1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper1/3 c. vinegar1/2 c. salad oil (last)
