Marinated asparagus
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- warm water
- white wine vinegar - 1/2 c
- grated onion - 2 Tbsp
- dill weed - 1/2 tsp
- asparagus, cut into bite size pieces
How to make marinated asparagus:
Marinade:1/3 c. warm water1 Tbsp. sugar1/2 tsp. dill weed1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. white wine vinegar2 Tbsp. grated onion1/2 c. oil Blanch asparagus; drop into boiling water for 4 to 5 minutes, until tender. Drain and run under cold water. Place in dish and add marinade. Refrigerate. Best marinated overnight.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Asparagus.
