Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- melted butter
- powdered sugar
- Duncan Hines brownie mix family size - 1 pkg
How to make marbled brownies:
Frosting:3 Tbsp. melted butter2 Tbsp. cocoa1 1/2 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla Soften the cream cheese and butter; beat together. Add the sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla; beat until smooth and set aside. Prepare the "cake-like" brownie batter as directed on the package.Pour half the brownie batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour all the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer. Spoon the remaining brownie batter in spots over the top. Swirl the two mixtures together with a knife or spatula. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. Cool and frost with Easy Milk Chocolate Frosting.
Frosting: Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in cocoa until dissolved. Add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Add more milk, if necessary, to make a soft spreading consistency. Frost brownies. Let set until firm.
