Macaroni and cheese
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- elbow macaroni
- Velveeta cheese or Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add salt and pepper. Let come to a bubble. Add flour and stir well until bubbly again. Add milk. Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 of grated cheese, stir until dissolved. Butter dish. Layer a layer of macaroni, then cheese, then sauce. Layer again. If sauce on top looks too thick, add a little milk.For creamy macaroni: Place in microwave and stir 2 or 3 times until sort of brown on edges or real bubbly, about every 3 minutes; or you can place in oven at 400° until brown on top.
