Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
How to make lemon squares:
Mix flour, butter and sugar. Pat into bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.Beat eggs. Add sugar and lemon juice. Fold in baking powder and flour. Pour on top of crust and bake for 20 minutes at 325°.
While warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar. When cool, cut in squares. Can be doubled and baked in an 8 x 13-inch pan.
