Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- cream cheese - 12 oz
- flour - 2 c
- water - 4 c
- confectioners sugar
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- Cool Whip - 8 oz
- lemon pudding and pie filling regular for cooking - 2 pkg
How to make lemon pie squares:
Prepare lemon pie filling by combining lemon pudding and pie filling, 4 tablespoons sugar and 4 cups water. Cook until thick. Cool.For pie crust, blend 2 cups flour, 2 tablespoons sugar and margarine. Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Spread over the cooled crust. Pour cooled lemon pie filling over the cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours until set. Remove wrap and spread Cool Whip. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
