Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- cornstarch - 6 Tbsp
- water
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- 9-inch baked pie shell - 1 item
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 3 item
How to make lemon pie:
Mix thoroughly the sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in water and place over direct heat. Add egg yolks and stir until thick. Cool 3 minutes and add lemon juice. Can cover with meringue and bake at 325° until slightly brown, 18 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
