  • water - 3/4 c
  • melted butter - 1 tsp
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • Wesson oil - 3/4 c
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • box lemon Jello dry - 1 item
  • Add oil and beat 3 additional minutes

How to make lemon jello cake:

Mix cake mix with dry jello; add water and eggs; beat 3 minutes. Add oil and beat 3 additional minutes. Bake in 9x13x2-inch pan in 350° oven for 35-37 minutes or until done. While cake is still warm (not hot) loosen cake from sides. Poke holes (pencil size) in cake every 2-inches. Leave cake in baking pan.FROSTING:2 1/4 c. confectioners sugar grated rind of 1 lemon juice of 2 lemons (1/3 c.)1 tsp. melted butter Beat well and pour over cake, into holes and down sides of cake. Serve when cool.
