Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1/2 c
  • eggs, unbeaten - 4 item
  • grated rind of 2 lemons
  • butter, melted or margarine - 1/4 c

How to make lemon chess pie:

Stir together the sugar, flour and cornstarch. Add eggs, milk, melted butter, lemon juice and grated lemon rind. Beat with mixer until thoroughly blended. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie crust and bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted into center comes out clean.
