Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • lemon jello - 1 item
  • cup sugar - 1 item
  • juice and rind of 1 lemon
  • large evaporated milk chilled - 1 item
  • cups crushed vanilla wafers - 2 item

How to make lemon bisque:

Dissolve gelatin and sugar in 1 1/4 cup hot water. Add lemon juice, rind and salt. Stir until dissolved. Chill until slightly jelled. Whip canned milk and fold into gelatin mixture. Spread 1 cup of wafers on bottom of large cake dish (9x13) and add remaining crushed wafers on top of mixture.
