Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- grated carrot - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 2 c
- chopped pepper - 1/2 c
- slices crisp bacon, crumbled - 8 item
- frozen green peas - 1 pkg
- medium head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
How to make layered salad:
Layer as follows: (first layer) shredded lettuce; (second layer) chopped pepper, onion, celery and grated carrot and (third layer) frozen green peas. Put in a large clear bowl; top with mayonnaise, then sprinkle the sugar. Finally layer the bacon and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: Salads, 3 steps or less, > 1 day.
