Ingredients/Components
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- frozen peas - 1 pkg
- layer of celery - 1 item
- layer of lettuce - 1 item
- layer of bacon, cooked - 1 item
- layer of scallions - 1 item
- layer of mayonnaise - 1 item
How to make layered salad:
Cut lettuce into bite-size pieces. Put on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch serving dish. Add a layer of cooked bacon that has been crumbled; a layer of finely chopped scallions; then a layer of diced celery.Cook frozen peas to a near-done stage; rinse and cool before adding as the next layer. Cover with mayonnaise and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. May be made a day ahead. Should stand several hours before using.
