Ingredients/Components
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- tomato paste - 12 oz
- Italian sausage - 1 lb
- Mozzarella cheese slices - 1 lb
- Caro tomatoes - 1 lb
- lasagne noodles, cooked, rinsed and drained - 10 oz
- cottage cheese/Ricotta cheese mix - 3 c
How to make lasagne:
Brown the meat. Add the next 5 ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Combine the cheese mix, eggs, Parmesan cheese, pepper and parsley. Place 1/2 the noodles in a 9 x 13-inch pan, 1/2 cheese mixture, then 1/2 Mozzarella, then 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
