Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- ground beef - 2 3
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 6 8
- red wine - 1/2 c
- onion - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese, grated - 3 4
- large carton Ricotta cheese - 1 item
- boxes lasagne noodles - 2 item
How to make lasagne:
Saute onion and garlic in olive oil. Brown ground beef. Add tomato paste, sauce, water, wine, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for several hours. Whip an egg and add to Ricotta. Layer noodles, meat sauce, Ricotta and Mozzarella in large deep lasagne pan. Top with Mozzarella and Parmesan. Can be frozen.
