  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/3 c
  • egg yolks - 2 item
  • egg whites - 4 item
  • lime juice - 1/4 c
  • grated lime peel - 1 Tbsp
  • margarine, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • graham crumbs
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375°

How to make key lime pie:

Mix all in a 9-inch pie plate. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375°.Filling:1 envelope unflavored gelatin1/8 tsp. salt1/3 c. water1/4 c. lime juice6 Tbsp. sugar2 egg yolks1 Tbsp. grated lime peel4 egg whites Mix gelatin and 4 tablespoons sugar. Beat egg yolks and water, lime peel and juice; stir into gelatin. Mix; cook over low heat and stir constantly until thick and frothy, 5 minutes. Then cool in large bowl. Beat egg whites to soft peaks. Add 2 tablespoons sugar; beat until stiff. Fold into cooled lime mixture until all mixed. Spoon into shell. Chill 2 to 3 hours.
