- Keebler Ready-Crust graham cracker pie crust - 1 (6
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- grated lime peel - 1 tsp
- lime juice - 1/3 c
- whipped topping for garnish - 1 item
- a few drops green food coloring - 1 item
How to make key lime pie:
In a large bowl beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside. In a small bowl beat egg yolks; mix in sweetened condensed milk. Gradually add lime peel and juice. Stir to combine well. Fold mixture into egg whites. Add food coloring. Pour into crust. Freeze for 3 hours. Let stand for 15 minutes at room temperature before serving. Serve with whipped topping.
