vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour
butter - 1 c
water - 1 c
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1 tsp
nuts - 1/2 c
raisins - 2 c

How to make jumbo raisin cookies:

Put raisins into a saucepan. Add water and bring to a boil. Boil for three minutes. Set aside to cool. Do not drain. Mix flour with other dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in raisins with vanilla; gradually add the flour mixture. Drop onto greased cookie sheet in large spoonfuls. Bake in oven at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
