Jumbo chocolate chip cookies

granulated sugar - 3/4 c
pkg - 1 oz
packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour
baking soda - 1 tsp
egg - 1 item
margarine, softened - 1 c
coarsely chopped nuts - 1 c

How to make jumbo chocolate chip cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Mix margarine, sugars and egg thoroughly. Stir in flour, soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop dough by 1/4 cup about 3-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until edges are set, 12 to 15 minutes. (Centers will be soft.) Cool before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen.
