Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
- margarine - 1 c
- chocolate morsels - 4 oz
How to make jewish coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. chopped walnuts4 oz. chocolate morsels Cream margarine and 3/4 cup sugar; add eggs and cream well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; add sour cream and beat until just mixed. Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; put half in greased and floured tube pan. Add half of the nuts and chocolate. Pour half of cake mixture into pan. Add remaining sugar and cinnamon mixture, nuts and chocolate. Pour the rest of batter into the pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
