- oil - 1 c
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- apples, thinly sliced - 6 item
- sugar depends on apple tartness - 3 5
How to make jewish apple cake:
Combine sliced apples, cinnamon and 3 to 5 tablespoons sugar; set aside. Combine 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, oil, eggs, salt and orange juice and beat well until batter is smooth. Grease a tube pan and alternate layers of batter and apples, ending with a layer of apples on top. Bake at 350° for 2 hours and 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Apple.
