  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • egg yolks - 5 item
  • coconut - 2 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg whites - 5 item
  • nuts - 1 c
  • Wesson oil

How to make italian cream cake:

Beat sugar and oil until fluffy. Add egg yolks to dry ingredients. Mix well. Add buttermilk, coconut and nuts. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend in. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes three 9-inch pans.
