Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 5 item
- coconut - 2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg whites - 5 item
- nuts - 1 c
- Wesson oil
How to make italian cream cake:
Beat sugar and oil until fluffy. Add egg yolks to dry ingredients. Mix well. Add buttermilk, coconut and nuts. Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend in. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes three 9-inch pans.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
