Italian casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 3/4 pt
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- medium chopped onion - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- large can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
- Provolone cheese - 8 oz
- shell macaroni - 8 oz
- envelope spatini - 1 item
- to 2 shakes garlic powder - 1 item
How to make italian casserole:
Brown beef and onion. Add garlic, tomatoes, drained mushrooms, spatini and tomato paste; simmer for 20 minutes. Cook and drain macaroni. Put half on bottom of baking dish. Cover with half of the meat sauce, sour cream and all of the Provolone. Layer the rest of the macaroni, meat sauce, sour cream and Mozzarella.
