Irish soda bread

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• buttermilk - 2 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• raisins - 1 c
• whole wheat flour - 1 c
• white flour - 3 c

How to make irish soda bread:

Mix all ingredients until thoroughly moist. Do not overmix. Turn onto floured board and knead 8 to 10 times. Place on buttered pie plate and bake for 55 minutes in 400° oven.
