Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- food coloring - 1 item
- all-purpose four - 3 c
- can icing - 1 item
How to make icing sugar cookies:
Cream butter, eggs and sugar. Add the dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Roll small amount of dough into a ball. Flatten with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° until golden brown.After they have cooled, you can put the icing on them. You can add food coloring to vanilla icing or make whatever color you want. Use pastel colors for Easter. Makes 6 dozen.
