Ingredients/Components
- semi-sweet chocolate - 4 sq
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- pecans - 1/2 c
- Oreo cookies - 24 item
- soft vanilla ice cream - 1/2 gal
- small cans evaporated milk - 2 item
- Ice Cream Layer:2 Tbsp
- Freeze until hard
How to make ice cream cake:
Mix cookies and margarine and spread with fork in a long glass cake pan.Ice Cream Layer:2 Tbsp. dry instant coffee dissolved in a little water1/2 gal. soft vanilla ice cream Mix and spread over cookie layer. Freeze until hard.Chocolate Layer:2 c. sugar2 small cans evaporated milk4 sq. semi-sweet chocolate6 Tbsp. margarine1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. pecans Mix and boil all ingredients. Cool in refrigerator, then pour over frozen Ice Cream Layer. Freeze until frozen hard. Top with layer of Cool Whip. Freeze.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, < 30 mins.
