Hungarian goulash
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 6 oz
- salt
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water
- cider vinegar - 3/4 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- paprika
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- ketchup - 6 Tbsp
- beef, cut into cubes - 1 lb
- medium onions, minced - 2 item
How to make hungarian goulash:
Brown meat; add onions. Combine mustard, paprika, brown sugar and salt. Combine Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and ketchup; add to mustard mixture. Add to meat. Add 1 cup water; stir. Cover. Cook over low heat 2 1/2 hours or until tender.Blend flour with remaining water; add to meat mixture. Stir until thickened. Cook noodles and serve meat over noodles.
Crock-pot Directions: The night before, brown meat and onions. Put in crock-pot with all ingredients. Just leave out 1/2 cup water and flour. Next morning, plug in and leave. When you arrive home, add flour and water.
