Hungarian goulash
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- paprika - 1/2 c
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- medium onions - 3 item
- marjoram - 1 Tbsp
- can tomatoes - 2 oz
- beef stew meat
- garlic cloves - 2 item
- medium pepper, chopped - 2 item
How to make hungarian goulash:
In a large frypan, flour beef with 1/2 cup flour; add onions and oil and brown. Stir in paprika, marjoram, pepper, green pepper, garlic, tomatoes and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook approximately 90 minutes or until meat is tender.Combine flour with 1 cup of water. Stir into hot liquid. Heat until it thickens, stirring constantly. Serve over noodles or rice.
