Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • paprika - 1/2 c
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • medium onions - 3 item
  • marjoram - 1 Tbsp
  • can tomatoes - 2 oz
  • beef stew meat
  • garlic cloves - 2 item
  • medium pepper, chopped - 2 item

How to make hungarian goulash:

In a large frypan, flour beef with 1/2 cup flour; add onions and oil and brown. Stir in paprika, marjoram, pepper, green pepper, garlic, tomatoes and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Cook approximately 90 minutes or until meat is tender.

Combine flour with 1 cup of water. Stir into hot liquid. Heat until it thickens, stirring constantly. Serve over noodles or rice.
