  • vanilla extract

  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • salad oil
  • bananas - 2 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • can crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 oz
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • Add eggs and salad oil; stir until dry ingredients are moistened

How to make hummingbird cake:

Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and salad oil; stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Do not beat. Stir in vanilla, nuts, pineapple and bananas. Bake at 350° for 1 hour in Bundt pan.Icing:8 oz. cream cheese1/2 c. butter1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla extract1 c. pecans, chopped
