  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • oil
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
  • soft margarine - 1/2 c
  • chopped bananas - 2 c
  • Frosting:1 box 4x sugar

How to make hummingbird cake:

Frosting:1 box 4x sugar1/2 c. soft margarine8 oz. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla Mix by hand. Combine dry ingredients; add eggs and oil. Stir until mixed well. Add vanilla, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes as sheet cake or layers. Let cake cool and frost with frosting. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
