Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- oil
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
- soft margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped bananas - 2 c
- Frosting:1 box 4x sugar
How to make hummingbird cake:
Frosting:1 box 4x sugar1/2 c. soft margarine8 oz. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla Mix by hand. Combine dry ingredients; add eggs and oil. Stir until mixed well. Add vanilla, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes as sheet cake or layers. Let cake cool and frost with frosting. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
