  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • meal yellow - 1 c

How to make hot water cornbread:

Mix all dry ingredients. Pour in hot, boiling water. Stir to consistency. Deep fry in small amounts. Will look like small pancakes when finished.
