Hot fudge pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- hot water
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- sugar, divided
- packed dark brown sugar - 1/2 c
- cocoa, divided - 7 Tbsp
How to make hot fudge pudding cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine 3/4 cup granulated sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into an 8 or 9-inch square pan or dish.In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa. Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. Do not stir! Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Spoon into dish. Spoon sauce over top. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. (Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is best.)
