Hot fruit casserole
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- brown sugar
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- maraschino cherries - 5 oz
- curry - 1 tsp
- figs - 17 oz
- peach halves - 29 oz
- pear halves - 29 oz
- apricots - 17 oz
- pineapple chunks and juice
How to make hot fruit casserole:
Drain all fruit, except pineapple. Arrange in Pyrex dish, ending with pineapple chunks and juice. Slice the butter over the fruit. Sprinkle fruit with mixture of brown sugar, curry, cinnamon and nutmeg. Let stand overnight. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pineapple, Main dish.
