Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • paprika
  • cayenne pepper - 1/4 1/2
  • dried parsley
  • dash of garlic - 1 item
  • sticks oleo, softened - 2 item
  • extra sharp Cracker Barrel cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
  • shake of Romano or Parmesan cheese - 1 item

How to make hot cheese cookies:

Mix ingredients by hand or mixer. Dough will be stiff. Roll into 4 thin rounds in wax paper. Chill or freeze. When ready to use, slice thin rounds and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown. Yields 60
