Hot buttered rum
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- eggs - 3 item
- brown sugar - 2 lb
- nutmeg
- cloves
- allspice
- margarine with corn oil - 1 lb
How to make hot buttered rum:
Melt margarine; add spices. Place sugar in bowl and add margarine. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat, with a mixer, for 30 minutes on medium speed. Seal in jar. Keep in fridge.One-half hour before using, take jar out. In glass, add 1 heaping tablespoonful batter, 1 jigger rum and 1 cup boiling water. Makes 60 cups. Keeps 6 to 8 months. Great Christmas gift for friends!
