Honey whole wheat bread
Ingredients/Components

- whole wheat flour
- yeast - 2 pkg
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
How to make honey whole wheat bread:
In large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, wheat flour, yeast and salt; mix well. Heat milk, water, honey and shortening until warm (115° to 120°). Add to flour mixture; add egg. Mix at low speed until moistened, then at medium speed 3 minutes. Stir in rest of flour. Knead on floured board about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled (1 hour). Punch dough down. Divide into 2 parts. Shape into loaves and let rise in bread pans until double (about 30 minutes). Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
