Honey roasted chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- whole chicken - 1 item
- can peach halves, drained - 1 oz
How to make honey roasted chicken:
Preheat oven to 375°. Pour water into bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan with roasting rack. In a small saucepan, mix honey, olive oil and curry powder; bring to a boil. Place chicken on rack, breast side up. Brush with honey mixture. Spoon 2 teaspoons of mixture into center cavity and sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.Place chicken in oven for 30 minutes. Remove. Turn chicken over. Place peach halves in bottom of pan. Spoon pan juices over chicken and return to oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
