Honey garlic chicken wings
Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 2 tsp
- honey - 1 c
- pepper - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- or buy the quick frozen bag and thaw - 16 chicken
- minced garlic depending on how "strong" you want the garlic - 3 4
How to make honey garlic chicken wings:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cut off bony tips of wings; cut back wing in half at the joint (this is when the frozen ones are great to use; saves lots of time). Place in a single layer in a shallow 3-quart baking dish.In a medium bowl, stir all ingredients together until blended. Pour over chicken pieces, turning to coat. Bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until browned, basting occasionally.
If you like "drier" wings, at the 1 1/4 hour, remove as much of the liquid as possible and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Transfer to chafing dish or tray for serving.
