Homemade sauerkraut

- cold water - 1 gal
- vinegar - 1 c
- cabbage - 1 item
- canning salt - 1/2 c
How to make homemade sauerkraut:
Mix first 3 ingredients and let stand for 24 hours. Chop cabbage, clean jars and lids real hot. Pack cabbage in jars. Pour warm solution over cabbage and seal.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Vegetables.
