Holiday potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- stick butter - 1 item
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- potatoes - 10 item
- crushed corn flakes - 1 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- cream of chicken soup - 1 can
- grated cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
How to make holiday potato casserole:
Peel and cook potatoes; cool and slice. Heat butter, chicken soup, sour cream and onion. Mix all ingredients except corn flakes and 2 Tbsp. butter. Salt mixture to taste, and spread in a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Top with corn flakes and melted butter. Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
