Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2/3 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- Bisquick - 2 c
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- caraway seed
How to make herb biscuits:
Mix first four ingredients together. Add milk all at once. Stir with a fork into soft dough. Beat 15 strokes. It will be stiff and sticky. Roll dough around board lightly dusted with Bisquick to prevent sticking. Knead gently 8 to 10 times to smooth up dough. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter that has been dipped in Bisquick. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450° for 10 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, < 30 mins, Rolls/biscuits.
