- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- vanilla wafer crumbs - 2 c
- egg yolks - 4 item
- sifted powdered sugar - 2 c
- cream, whipped - 1 c
- drained crushed pineapple - 1 c
How to make heavenly dessert:
Spread 1 1/4 cups cookie crumbs in 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy; beat in yolks separately. Carefully spread mixture over crumbs. Beat cream stiff; fold in drained pineapple, and spread carefully over butter-cookie layer. Top with remaining cookie crumbs. Cover with waxed paper. Chill several hours. Cut in squares.
