Ingredients/Components

- light corn syrup - 1 Tbsp

How to make heath bar candy:
Melt butter in large pan. Add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook to hard crack (300°), stirring occasionally. Add 1 cup almond bits and stir. Spread in well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool. Turn candy out of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan onto wax paper.Melt chocolate; spread half of chocolate on candy. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of nuts. Cover with wax paper and invert candy. Spread over side with remaining chocolate and sprinkle with remaining nuts. Chill if necessary. Break with mallet.
