  • cornstarch
  • margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • cider vinegar - 1/2 c
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • beet juice - 1 c
  • can beets - 1 item

How to make harvard beets:

Drain beets. Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add the beets and cook until hot. Makes 6 servings.
