Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- beet juice - 1 c
- can beets - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Drain beets. Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add the beets and cook until hot. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
