Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch
- water - 1/4 c
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- small beets, cooked, cut in slices and cubed - 12 item
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add vinegar and water and boil 5 minutes. Add beets and let stand over low heat for 30 minutes. Just before serving, bring to boiling point.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
